WHat is Mombodhi?

Pregnancy and birth changes things, but our body wants to heal, it wants to recover. It wants to find its way back home to an aligned, balanced, and strong center.

Mombodhi was founded by Kristen Boccumini to support the health, function and mind-body connection within an individual as a powerful assistant while navigating the dynamic transformation of childbirth. Mombodhi provides live and virtual classes to “awaken,” as if through enlightenment, this connection to the body’s intuitive wisdom and inherent dynamic inner strength through functional movement and yoga. Birth education offered through these classes is aimed to empower individuals on their own personal journey while providing a community of support. Mombodhi also serves to provide hope to those postpartum who are ready to regain optimal fitness by building dynamic strength and function within the core and pelvic floor. For fitness and yoga professionals, Mombodhi provides continuing education through workshops and their 85hr prenatal yoga teacher training certification program.

It begins with body awareness. In particular, how we breathe, how we hold ourselves, and how we move in daily life. Trust in your body’s ability to heal, and begin your personal journey of body re-awakening and enlightenment through intentional, functional movement.
